I have 17 years of counseling experience working with children, adults, and families. I’ve been told that I am warm, easygoing, and approachable (and I have a sense of humor, too). I will take the time to understand where you have been, what has and hasn’t worked for you in the past, and how those things affect you now.

My specialties that focus on children and adolescents include anxiety, depression, military family transitions, ADHD, school concerns (including IEP and 504 plans), physical/emotional abuse, and custody issues. Treating children using play therapy is also a specialty of mine. Specialty areas in adult treatment include mindfulness, guided imagery, stress management, adjustment disorders, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, long-term effects of PTSD, trauma, and PCS concerns (individual and family).

Therapy is a joint venture in healing and growth. It is an interactive process that provides possibilities for change and hope. Everyone’s situation and experiences are unique. Together, we will explore your presenting issues and concerns.
